The next chapter of the Homeworld story is coming as Homeworld 3 has been announced at PAX West, alongside a Fig campaign that will let fans invest in the series future. I can't wait to start up the game for the first time and I'm already planning to save up some money for a new graphics card and monitor when it drops. but the community were invited to back the game via crowdfunding using the Fig platform. Homeworld was one of the first games I played through on my first PC, along with DeusEx. This attempt to bring Homeworlds space-faring RTS action to mobile devices is being handled by developer Stratosphere, and will be out next year.
